  Try this: in the glove box there’s a decal with a bunch of numbers on it. These are ther RPO (production) Codes. There are a few sites that will help you translate them. The paint code is in there.

  I own a shop, and think this; All automotive paint stores have these colors in a book that has a chip of the actual colors for each year, make, and model of cars & trucks. I would go to one of them, and have a look, as this would make sense to me.

  Chevy has pretty much used the same colors for the last five years, but I can help you with something.

  In 2005 we bought two chevy’s… the dealership and chevy.com calls both colors by these names

  truck – red – “Victory Red”
  Van – gold – “Sandstone Metallic”
