well ford’s 5.4 in the f-150 runs on altenative fuel as well. and the “new” chevy? i guess they changed the lights or something right, not huge thats for sure, still the same truck. A ford can run on only half the cylinders but only in limp home mode, complete loss of engine coolant.

over all i like the truck but i hate the grill on it is a reproduction of the 1994-1997 s-10 grill

It’s OK if you like those features and you like the new look. Ford and Chevy have been making flex fuel vehicles for several years now. GM, Ford, and Chrysler have had cylinder de-activation technologies for years. The interior and sheet metal are new, that’s pretty much it.
I think the best thing about the new Chevys is that GM is finally turning around its marketing approach and cranking out good commercials with Mellencamp’s music.
Just don’t buy any new vehicle in its first model year. In the first model year every part is supplied by the lowest bidder without regard to quality. The problems don’t get worked out till at least a year or two later.

i would. Chevy made a good looking truck. it is about the one thing that they do well. besides the vette.
