No! It could be very possible depending on your driving habits. If you’re always on the brakes like I see alot of people doing, the heat build up will not only warp the rotor but crack it also! The brake pad quality will make the difference regarding wear as the ceramic pads are much better quality that the rabestos but much harsher on the rotors too!

You DID torque the nuts when you changed wheels didn’t you? Overtightening them and uneven tightening will cause the rotors to warp.

i own a repair shop, and no its not to early or them to be warped it happens to them with less miles than that on them, the will warp if you have to hit them real hard or have had to use them a lot on a lot of big hills, they just get hot and warp, even new ones will do this,id just have them turned down and put new pads on it,and it will be fine,i do this all the time ,and i have sen then with less than 10 thousand miles be warped so you did OK with it,good luck i hope this help,s

the rotors probably got rusty from sitting and did not seat the pads when you started driving it again..just turn them and replace the pads .. stock rotor are better than after market rotors…

Driving through water when the rotors are hot could warp them.
When you brake hard, it’s probably not the rotors you’re feeling.
Your truck is equipped with anti-locking brakes. The system pulses the fluid to prevent your brakes from locking up and you can feel it in the pedal.

It could possibly be the way the vehicle is braked while being driven. Although the miles are low the time is long. Over time rotors get rusty and that develops an abrasive that can unevenly wear the rotor. Time to replace.

It’s only normal for rotors to warp when you ride the brakes. If all of them are that way, you probably need to keep your left foot off the brake pedal.
