I am suprised that it would have two filters. Now the one in the transmission may be a screen, which if it is I would not worry about. Sense the pan has a drain hole overall there is not any need to worry about sludge. As thin as the fluid is it will remove 99.? % of the sludge (if any) when it is changed.
