Or maybe it got pinched. Pump your gas and see if you either smell gas or see puddles under your car. Also check the seal above your gas tank, it could also be worn out. You most likely have an inline gas filter somewhere between your gas tank and your carburetor. If you can find that then replace it. Yourself it may cost about $ 15.00. If well below that, the truck won't start. If the fuel pressure is good, take the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator, and if gas comes out, replace the regulator.
