Call your insurance company and get an estimate. Most likely they will total it. Then get another truck and find a different game to play.

give it a week to dry..and disconnect the battery and take off all the lens covers and headlights...leave the windows open and open any covers in the engine compartment and inside the cab...leave the hood open as well...if you'r lucky no water got into the carb..then it should be fine.

OOPS! You goofed.

Besides on top of the pistons, the water may be refilling the cylinders from the air intake. The ECM is mounted on the side of the block, probably soaked. Other sensor connections may be full of water, need to be unplugged, dried, spray with WD40 to displace water.

Will need to get the system plugged in to check for ECM damage. A full vehicle check will advise of other problems. If fuel tank was low, may have water in there too.
