<description>this can be caused by many different things

TPS
O2 sensor
timing issue(ignition module)
CPS

low runnign fuel pressure issue

i recommend taking it in to have it connected to a computer to have it scanned for codes and to try to trace a bad sensor or low running fuel pressure condition

this can be tricky to figure out

do a basic tune up

put new plugs and wires on it if they are known to be over a year old or very cheap quality low cost ones

if it has a distributor then put new cap and rotor on it

new fuel filter if it is over a year old

air cleaner filter if it is over a few months old

or try running it with the filter removed and see if it is still doggy

good luck
