		<description>Nope, you&#039;ll have to sand down the excisting paint so the new paint will stick. Also you&#039;ll need to use an anti silicone liquid to remove any wax or other that will prevent the paint from sticking. In case the surface is ok, no dents, no rust nor cracks sanding it with a 600 grain waterproof might give you some ok result. But spraypainting is a profession. It&#039;s not like painting with a brush, though that, by itself is quite a profession as well. 
Don&#039;t forget, spray will also get on anything else, like windscreens, wheels and other objects around. You&#039;ll need to mask off parts that need not to be painted and clear the area of other objects. If spraying outside, dust and sand will get on the paint, which will also be the case in a garage, but then it&#039;ll be dust.

I guess it&#039;s better to start on an old car and try it out first before messing up your Chevy&#039;s looks.</description>
