According to my repair manual, you must remove the entire drive line, (both front and rear drive-shafts) after first marking the yokes in front and rear for proper realignment at re-installation. Once removed, you must separate front and rear drive-shafts, again after marking for proper realignment at re-installation. The old carrier bearing must be pressed off and the new one will need to be pressed back on, again making sure that the original orientation between front and rear drive-shafts is preserved. Then reinstall drive shaft as removed. The two drive-shafts are balanced as a unit, so the orientation of them must be maintained, to keep them in balance. I’ve not done this project before, so I don’t have any practical advice to add. Hope it helps you.

I will assume you have the diff carrier out on the bench,ok the easy way is to borrow a special tool that pulls the brg off .It uses the race to remove the brg intact and saves time and elminates damage to carrier,or you could just take it to a shop and have them do it.
