This door may be warped and that is a definite possibillity! I've encountered more than ten weak door window frames and door main structures on these rolling chicken-pens of a cab. Remember that Chevy rely'd on light-weight cabs and body panels to brag about thier supposed speed and fuel mileage advantage. They also made sure to not allow you to survive in a wreck that ruptured thier out-board fuel tanks and thier in-cab tank.

If the striker plate is not the problem...you have several bolts on the door hinge to adjust with.....it will take two people to do the job right....and some time

Sounds like the door striker plate needs to be adjusted (the part the door latches to that is mounted on the cab). If the door is being pushed up into the cab, but looks to line up pretty good before the door is latched it wouldn't be the hinges.

Move the striker plate down a little bit. This will take time, small movements. Loose the plate mounting bolts slightly, the tap it downward with a hammer gently. This will result in small movements in any direction that you wish. If you were to loosen the bolts and move it only by hand, you could end up chasing your tail as it is hard to control the distance that you move the plate.

Good luck
