		<description>It shouldn&#039;t be necessary ,but if you have to,loosen the ignition switch(electrical switch) at the base of the column.
 The actuator rod fits into this switch from the mechanism above.You may even take the ignition switch off completely and lay it aside til you get the upper column disassembled.</description>
