I think the air leak at the booster is air going in and out as vacuum pulls the diaphragm that boosts your brakes. Make sure you use a box-end wrench on the bleed valves as they might be weathered in and you don't need them screwed up using a open end wrench.

Pump up the brakes and open the bleeder on the rear passenger brake. Do this over and over until you have cleaned the system out. You most likely will have contaminated fluid in the lines- Will come out like slugde. You need to clear out all of the gunk and then replace with good fluid.

I had the same issue on a 68 camaro, had to clear out all lines of this gunk to get brakes to bleed out correctly.

Go to your local library they should have a copy of a Chilton or Haynes repair manual. If the master cylinder is leaking fluid at the back it will need to be rebuilt or replaced. Replacing is easier and cheaper option if you don.t have the tools and experience to rebuild it. It's leaking from the back because one or more seals are worn.
