		<description>you can tell if its in the tranny!. unhook the linkage from the tranny and see if you can get it out of park by shifting it by hand, if it comes out of park that way, it must be the linkage.</description>

		<description>Most likely the brake light switch on top of the brake pedal is faulty (see if your brake lights work).To drive the car (I mean putting it in drive)...turn the ignition key to the on position (with out starting),shift the lever into neutral,start the truck &amp; put it in drive....off you go.</description>

		<description>Could be ... i forgot the name... I think it is a &quot;torque lock&quot;.  If you park on an incline and just put it into park without using the parking brake the transmission locks up.  There should be a little window next to the gear shift that you have to open to release the lock.  Next time park with the parking break.</description>
