i have a friend that this used to happen too. it turned out to be the knock sensor. they called it an “overly sensitive knock sensor” knock sensor detects engine knock, and shouldnt be effected by road bumps

My recommendation would be to check your grounds underneath. You may have had one that rusted or fallen off. That seems like the only reason a truck would be crippled by a bump, unless this was a really big bump.

yeah a power line has a way of damaging electrical stuff and thats exactly what it sounds like is wrong
