Yes, AutoZone carry the replacement circuit boards in the help section PT# 88136 for approx $30. bucks. Just had to replace the one on my '91 Silverado Z71 a couple of yrs. ago.

Opps, this circuit board is located on the wiper motor and is hold on w/ three toro(sp?) screws. Remove the three screw on the cover plate and the board can be pulled right out. Where you can just place the replacement circuit board w/ the new board, in it's place. Once you dis-connect the power supply connection, feedin into the side of the board.

The circuit boards in the 88-98 are known to give this problem. Once they develop the crack in the circuit(s).

Good luck!

That was a problem with GM trucks all the way through '98. I had a '96 that did the same thing. I found with mine if you put slight pressure on the wiring harness it seemed to fix the problem, so I just loosely zip-tied the harness to the wiper motor bracket so it kept pressure on it. It worked without failure until I sold the truck two years later. It may work on yours, or it may not. If not, all your out is a five cent zip tie. As previously mentioned they had a circuit board problem.

turn the switch on and firmly tap the black panel on the motor, that should cause it to work. Quick fix is to replace the circuit board inside total cost $35.
